eHouse CAN/RF Intelligent home Control rollers, gateways, drives, servos, solenoid regulatory – events
This article covers “eHouse CAN” and “eHouse RF” controllers.
Smart House eHouse CAN/RF version allows you to control various types of electromechanical actuators used for:
- management blinds , awnings , gates, gateways, windows drives
- regulatory control solenoid (+ , – ) For controlling the flow, temperature and other physical values
eHouse CAN/RF controllers allow you to configure output drivers to directly control , regulation and management:
- electromechanical drives
- servos
- solenoid
- air conditioners
- valves
- actuators
In drive mode, single outputs work in pairs (1,2) (3,4) controlling two bi-directional servo or executive actuators (+,-).
It is also possible to use one pair of outputs to control the drive and the other as a single output.
If the outputs are used in drive operating mode, single output should be block (setting “Disable” flag for both individual outputs) – events relating to the individual outputs were ignored , and do not damage the drive in case of wrong usage.
Before reading further , please read post Smart Home eHouse CAN/RF control of external devices – single output .
There were discussed the structure of output and eHouse system event.
eHouse CAN/RF smart home system in drives control mode – event structure is as follows:
- 1. Address H [8b] = ‘7F’ for “eHouse CAN”, ‘7E’ for “eHouse RF” devices
- 2. Address L [8b] = ’01’..’FE’
- 3. CMD [8b] – command = ’64’
-  4. Options [4b] + Drive Number [4b] . – Advanced Options + drive number counted from 1:
 Options sum bits, individual bits masking options – 4 older bits
 * 0x80 [1b] – Administration mode [MSB]
 * 0x40 [1b] – “disabled” lock drives mode for outputs – requires the inclusion of administrative mode
 * 0x20 [1b] – Somfy mode – for external controller compatible with Somfy (connecting to switches for drive) – requires the inclusion of administrative mode
 * 0x10 [1b] – future applications
 * 4 lowest bits [4] – No drive 01..02
-  5. Repeat [5b] + Direction [3b] Number of repetitions + direction of movement
 » ’00’ – off (Off/Stop) (for normal mode. for somfy mode does not stop drives )
 » ’01’ – close (-) (Somfy mode moves the drive to end or issue stop event (03))
 » ’02’ – open (+) (Somfy mode moves the drive to end or issue stop event (03))
 » ’03’ – Stop : Somfy mode incorporating both directions at once, for other modes turn of both outputs.
- 6. TimeON High – turn on time higher byte 00..FF
- 7. TimeON Low – turn on time lower byte 00..FF – inclusion of a preset time TimeON:
 * ‘0000’ permanently
 * ‘0001’..’FFFF’ off after a certain time in seconds (1..65535) => (1s..18 hours)
- 8. TimeOff High – off time high byte ’00’..’FF’
- 9. TimeOff Low – off time lower byte ’00’..’FF’ – inclusion of a preset time TimeOff in the case of cyclic events:
 * ‘0000’ – no waiting for turn on , next event for the drive is delayed by the time set in the “DisableTime”
 * ‘0001’ .. ‘0002’ – waiting for turn on after a specified time in seconds ( 1 .. 2) => (0s .. 2s) , after time TimeOff , next event for the drive is delayed by the time set in the ” DisableTime ”
 * ‘0003’ .. ‘FFFF’ waiting for turn on after a specified time in seconds ( 3 .. 65535) = > (3s .. 18 hours) , after the expiry of the time TimeOff inclusion in the event of a cyclic .
 The event ends when the time expires TimeOff and time set in the ” DisableTime ” is ignored .
- 10. DisableTime [ 8b ] – minimum time lock control drives before changing the direction of the drive . Ignored if “TimeOff” is greater than 2 , “DisableTime” is ignored .
For example, an event DirectEvent ” 7F 02 64 02 01 00 0A 00 03 00 ” means an event for “eHouse CAN” controller # 2 and no drive # 2 ( output 3 , 4 ) » close drive for 10s . In case of incorrect settings Somfy mode there is a risk of permanent damage to the drive of another type For more information :
